Senior Producer

SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
As Senior Producer for this major online healthcare-information company, you will be responsible for leading development and maintenance related to assigned web programs and/or channels. You will coordinate a cross-functional production team for creative development and technical implementation of web content and programs. You will also determine and maintain the creative vision of assigned programs, and determine and lead implementation of the technical design. In addition, you will create and monitor the creative vision of assigned programs, and determine schedules and budgets to ensure timely, quality and cost-effective program execution. The Senior Producer typically works on larger, more strategic and complex programs and channels, and evaluates primary and secondary market research, metrics, usability standards and other data to assess the implications for assigned programs and channels and makes recommendations to the Executive Producers.


EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
* 5 plus years professional experience in web-based project/program management roles.
* Proven experience developing and directing web programs and sites, as well as experience working with clients.
* Experience managing complex projects with demonstrated success with on-time and on-budget project delivery.
* Strong content skills with a demonstrated eye for visual design.
* Excellent communication, organization, collaboration and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams.


* Experience with creation of metrics reports and metrics analysis.
* Basic understanding of Internet advertising standards and operations.
* Reasonable familiarity with standard web-based development tools including Microsoft Project, Visio or similar flow chart design tools, JavaScript, Dreamweaver or other HTML development tools, Microsoft Office suite.
* Knowledge of best web practices; awareness of latest innovative technologies for design and delivery of content on the web.
* Must possess the personality to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Have a positive attitude under pressure and excellent interpersonal team skills.
* Proven skill in organization, work planning, attention to detail, follow-through and follow up.
* Must be a self-starter and able to both work independently and follow direction.
* Health related experience a plus.
