Senior Site Merchandiser, Grocery Grocery is one of the fastest-growing categories at Amazon.com.  The Grocery team is seeking a senior site merchandiser who will be responsible for the overall site merchandising strategy for the grocery category as well as support new features and functionality launches to further our grocery business. Responsibilities: Manage site merchandising calendar for grocery.  This includes email programs, cross-category placements, participation in Amazon.com site-wide events, browse tree design and search results. Manage navigation structure for grocery.  Ensure that customers can identify and find natural/organic and specialty food products in addition to well-known brands.  Create and manage refinements based on health/dietary needs and usage occasions. Manage site merchandising calendar and strategy for subscribe and save.  This includes email programs, cross-category placements, participation in Amazon.com site-wide events and other merchandising as appropriate. With product management, develop new pages and offerings for product merchandising Create and manage monthly promotion pages and emails in support of promotions Create pages and merchandising features to support coop initiatives: brand stores, emails, A+ detail pages Manage free-lance contractors in creating A+ detail pages and feature bullets or other work as needed. Manage one direct reportThe ideal candidate will be innovative and team oriented, with a demonstrated history of successful project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.  We are seeking someone who is passionate about food and who will be excited about helping customers shop for groceries; both in discovering niche brands and in learning more about their everyday favorites. The Senior Site Merchandiser must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically, have the ability to anticipate bottlenecks, escalate to management, maximize business benefit, and deliver a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: 3-5 years of site merchandising experience; consumer packaged goods experience preferred ability to conceptualize and execute projects strong bias for action and ability to prioritize strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; editorial or copywriting experience preferred ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations relentless customer focus BA/BS required
