Senior Software Developer- Java

The Stamps.com Web Development team is looking for a Senior Software Developer experienced in enterprise application development.  The position requires a strong understanding of Java and SOA best practices.  The ideal candidate will have participated at all levels of the software development process; will be creative, knowledgeable and self-motivated with experience developing in a team environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·  Java/J2EE development - design and create interfaces/services for ATG

·  Design the enterprise integration architecture in coordination with program managers and developers of existing enterprise systems.

·  Provide technical direction for software design, project planning and documentation

·  Assist QA in understanding feature implementations, test case development and troubleshooting

·  Perform necessary documentation, source control and defect resolution tasks

 

Qualifications:

 

·  7+ years software development experience

·  4+ years experience in the J2EE framework:  JSP, Java, EJB, Java Beans, JMS

·  Experience writing multi-threaded, highly efficient, highly available server-side applications

·  Knowledge of tools such as Ant, Subversion, Hibernate, JUnit, and Struts Framework

·  Experience developing enterprise applications using an application server such as JBoss, WebLogic, ATG, or Websphere.

 

Ideal candidate will also have experience in the following:

 

·  EAI technologies, middleware applications and workflow tools such as SOA, BPEL, Oracle Workflow, WebMethods, or BizTalk

·  XML, SOAP, WSDL, Web Services

·  Commercial software development experience a plus.

·  Development of enterprise applications using the ATG Platform
