Senior Strategist

Job Description
The Senior Strategist will have strong e-business and online channel strategy experience, including conducting customer, competitor, financial and strategic analyses and developing strategies linked to client objectives and marketplace needs. Our ideal candidate has at least five years of work experience and a solid track record servicing large clients in an interactive agency or consulting environment.

 

 

Responsibilities

§ Provide strategic leadership to clients and THINK project teams

§ Drive integrated marketing and e-business solutions across customer segments and channels

§ Define scope and recommended approach for major strategic projects

§ Serve as thought leader in aligning online strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives; convince clients of the value of strategic recommendations to their business

§ Develop business models and pro-forma ROI analysis for major client initiatives

§ Commission primary and conduct secondary research on consumer and market needs and behaviors

§ Design and conduct competitive analyses, interpret results and make recommendations

§ Analyze program results and make recommendations for improvements

§ Consistently exceed client expectations and strengthen perceived value of THINK relationship

§ Play an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches

 

 

Qualifications

§ MBA preferred

§ Sound strategic thinking skills and a determination to provide the best strategic solutions in spite of tight deadlines

§ Ability to influence large and complex audience on new ideas and approaches

§ Versatility and flexibility to changes in client demand or in project scope 

§ An expert understanding of emerging trends within the online environment

§ Knowledge of interactive marketing vehicles, media and distribution channels

§ Ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready deliverables, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills

§ The ability and desire to work in an intense and fast-paced environment

§ An obsession for perfection and a meticulous focus on quality

§ A positive attitude and a good sense of humor (we like to have fun)
