Senior Web UI Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Web UI Engineer that is comfortable across all of these technologies and would like to use their talents to bring the Netflix site to the next level technically.

As Sr. Web UI Engineer you will take ownership for various sections of the Netflix site. Additionally, as part of the UI Engineering team at Netflix, you will be involved in our larger, ongoing refactoring effort -- our drive to employ the best standards, components, strategies and architecture throughout our site. This framework includes the following technologies: HTML, Javascript, CSS, Java, JSP, Struts2, Tiles2, YUI Grid and jQuery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Expert-level knowledge of DHTML (JavaScript, Ajax, CSS)
Expert-level experience in building web applications using the latest standards-based approaches
Solid experience with at least one Ajax/Javascript framework
Solid knowledge of JSP, Java, and Java Servlets (or similar generation technologies)
Experience with jQuery, Struts, Tiles, Spring, Hibernate a plus
Strong sense of what is required of a great user interface
Excellent verbal and written communications
Ability to work seamlessly in a team development environment
Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing, dynamic environment
Complete understanding of the full cycle development (design, development and testing)
Enjoy technical challenges
Self-motivated

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
6+ years software engineering experience
4+ years professional web development experience
3+ years professional Java development experience
