Shipping & Receiving Clerk

MST, NuVisions Broadband, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as our  Shipping and Recieving Clerk.  Successful candidates should be experienced with all aspects of  inventory processing such as, procedures, material requisitions and placement, tracking and repair order processing.



Summary: Follows proper procedures for Purchase orders, packing  slip, Receiving documents and other documents completed in compliance with company policy. Completes all work in a timely manner.

 

INVENTORY: Maintains Master equipment levels of supplies by monitoring inventory and making recommendations to Plant Operations Manager for reordering of materials required for installation/repair of signal distribution. Monitors installation material levels at all remotes sites.

 

SHIPPING: Prepare equipment documents for shipping of equipment requiring return to manufacturer for repair and the subsequent tracking of returned materials.  Shipping of equipment via third party vendor (ie: UPS, FedEx, DHL).  Fulfilling PO’s for Vendor purchases of surplus equipment.

 

Is responsible for tracking, receiving and shipping of all receivers and other equipment required for signal distribution to the customer or end user. Receiver ID numbers, MAC addresses, as well as other forms of equipment ID to perform this tracking.

 

RECEIVING: Perform all receiving for materials and packages entering the building. Reconcile all packing slips to Purchase Orders. Investigate misc. documents for attachment to proper documentation.

 

Maintain proper organization, cleanliness and upkeep of the Warehouse facilities in Hawthorne, NJ.

Operates a Fork Lift in a safe manner for the loading and unloading of trucks or stocking of materials.

 

Obtain Return Manufacturers Authorization (RMA) forms for equipment to be returned to the manufacturer for credit or equipment replacement.

 Distributes and pick-up materials to remote sites, Manhattan, Roosevelt and
other sites as they become available.

Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
