Shipping Receiving Manager

Summary:  Full time Shipping Receiving Manager for toy internet companies and store.  Must be highly organized, efficient, detail oriented and comfortable with computers.  Must work well with people. Lifting involved. This position involves unloading boxes from pallets when shipments arrive to bringing them into the location. Must be able to handle rapidly growing inventory with thought out solutions for present and future organization. Must be able to manage and motivate, and set a good example for others. Everyone works in a team environment. Must be able to inspect goods upon receiving and catch manufacturing problems by paying attention to detail.  Receive incoming packages and freight deliveries against purchase orders.  Work closely with Purchasing and Sales departments to resolve concerns/issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a safe, secure and productive work environment.

 

Experience:  Would prefer 1 plus years of receiving exp.  Effectively and efficiently managing warehouse inventory.  Must be comfortable with computers.  On the job training involved.

 

Skills: Strong leadership skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual ability - specifically Spanish desired. High degree of problem solving skills to solve new and unique requests by our customers. Quickly learns and adapts to changing needs of our distribution environment. Proficient with computer; windows-based applications.
