Site Merchandiser, Amazon.ca Amazon.ca is looking for an enthusiastic, metrics-driven, creative editor to help build a best of breed Canadian website by using innovative merchandising techniques and providing compelling content and product information. The site merchandiser also will work to drive overall improvement in the look, feel and navigation of the store, and will help drive projects and initiatives to improve the shopping experience. The position is in our North American headquarters in Seattle. The successful candidate will work with internal and external resources to: Drive internal and external traffic to Amazon.ca Plan, develop and execute compelling cross product line e-mails and holiday stores Analyze results of merchandising and traffic-driving efforts Work closely with other internal teams to create site-wide promotional campaigns Build customer-friendly navigation of the store Help drive the challenge of merchandising products that require accurate, detailed information to gain customer trustExperience in marketing and e-commerce merchandising is required. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management. Technical requirements include previous experience with Web publishing tools, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly. Experience working with XML and HTML tools is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant editorial, journalism, or merchandising experience. A bachelor's degree is required.
