Software Test Engineer I

The Platform Test Team is looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team. We are responsible for testing the technology that drives WildTangent. Our projects include confirming full operation of our e-commerce site and account management services, UI & usability testing, and validating internal tools.

 

Responsibilities:

 

This individual will be a member of a multiple project teams and reporting to the Platform Test Manager. You will be responsible for:

 Planning and executing test plans & test casesWorking on projects independentlyHelping update existing test toolsWorking efficiently in a dynamic, multi-project environmentWorking closely with the Developer teams on new feature developmentTesting in an N-Tier application environment

Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years experience in software testing, covering stand alone, client-server, and web based applications. That experience will include much of the following:

 Familiarity with C#Familiarity with SQLBlack Box UI testing skillsE-commerce and/or DRM experienceHTML & Website testing experienceAbility to communicate bug reports clearly and preciselyFamiliarity with the software development cycleAbility to produce and execute test plans Strong communication & documentation skills Attention to detail
