RealGames syndication will drive significant volumes of new games customers in 2008 and close to $24M in top line revenue, through relationships with over 250 different partners. The Director of Business Development will be critical in ensuring the ongoing success of these partners and the games syndication businessRealGames is seeking a smart, energetic, dynamic and highly-skilled Senior Account Manager to manage our games syndication business. The ideal candidate will have superior account management skills which includes working closely with partners to optimize relationships and effectively grow the business. This individual will be responsible for all partner/account management aspects related to the games syndication service. These partners may include ISP’s/MSO’s, Portal sites, Games sites, and others. Responsibilities will include serving as the primary account manager contact with partners for planning/execution as well as on-going optimization for these relationships.Essential Functions: % of Time1. Working with partners on optimizing existing relationships 40%2. Launching new partners 25%3. Coordinate and evangelize promotional programs including creative development, tracking and reporting across client base 20%4. Assist business development with prospecting 5%5. Work closely with other account managers to strategize and drive merchandising / product placements throughout syndication network 10%The Senior Account Manager will be assigned quarterly quantitative goals such as achieving customer acquisition (uniques) and new partner launch targets. In addition, qualitative and strategic goals such as develop better tools and services to manage partners will be assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum:Candidate must be very strong in account management, possess excellent communication skills, and organization/project management. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and partners, be comfortable meeting deadlines and metrics objectives. Candidate must also be skilled at managing relationships and comfortable communicating at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.Preferred:Deep understanding of effective marketing and promotional programs, both on and offline, preferably in technology based consumer products and services. Understanding of subscription business dynamics and models. Very strong in analytics (solid excel skills). Focus on ROI and demonstrable results strongly preferred. Excellent written communication skills also preferred. Ability to focus and communicate strategically, but execute tactically also helpful.Education, Certification, and/or Training:Minimum:BA/BS in Business, Communications or related field.Preferred:MBA helpful but not required.Experience:Minimum: 3-5 years in account management or marketing in a high-tech, B to C or B to B environment. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing third party and internal relationships to hit metrics and drive partner satisfaction.Preferred:5+ years of same, with primary focus on B to C products.
