Position Description
You’ll play a critical role in taking CyberSource to the next level of industry dominance. In this exciting new position, you’ll be the focal point for CyberSource product marketing strategy and execution, and have the opportunity to lay the foundation for growing and evolving this critical function. With responsibility for global payment products, risk management products and payment security solutions you’ll be at the vortex of company strategy and payment industry change.
Specific Responsibilities will include
Strategic planning through tactical execution of solution marketing:
· Defining product/solution marketing strategy (go-to-market strategy).
· Defining product positioning and associated merchant value proposition
· Managing solution packaging and launch review process
· Defining, developing and producing sales tools required to support solution sale (collateral, “kill sheets”, playbooks, presos)
· Managing sales readiness effort (and maintaining readiness)
· Managing product/solution launch (including key PR messages, website content, outbound product mailings)
· Concepting and delivering content for demand generation offers (whitepapers, webinars, etc.)
· Monitoring solution adoption (new and installed base) to achieve mix targets
· Working with Market Managers and Partner Marketing Managers to drive programs and adoption
· Monitoring win/loss results and driving changes to product features or selling methodology/message to optimize results
· Actively working with Product Management to champion continuous evolution of a superior value proposition
Qualifications
· Demonstrated ability to assume “business leadership” for assigned solution areas (champions function/role/objectives)
· 7-10 years enterprise marketing/product marketing experience. Ideal background includes one or more of these product areas: financial, database, ERP or CRM applications/systems; eCommerce; or business workflow/decision systems. Payment services experience a plus.
· Experience marketing enterprise applications to Retail, Media/Entertainment/Telecom, or Travel industry helpful.
· Familiarity with eCommerce business process/order management processes and technology desired.
· Strategic thinker: developing unique value prop, devising sales approach, understanding customer business process fit
· Excellent presentation and written skills
· Demonstrated experience concepting and developing decision-oriented sales tools (hands-on experience)
· Strong PowerPoint skills (creating compelling, crisp, professional presentation materials).
· Demonstrated expertise/attention to analyzing and managing closed-loop marketing/sales processes
