Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager

Experian Interactive Media seeks a Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager to join its Project Management Office team.  Summary:The PMO is diverse with project managers and program managers and has a great team attitude of collaboration to produce big wins. This is an essential skill in being effective project leaders so the ideal candidate should have a good perspective on the winning balance of individual leadership and team participation.  The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for executing multiple concurrent corporate and projects and initiatives of medium duration (4-6 months). The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing these projects or initiatives within the constraints of scope, time and quality to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. The Sr. Project Manager will report directly to the Director, PMO and work cross functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to implement the projects and initiatives. Responsibility begins upon approval and prioritization by Management and includes gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating Development and QA schedules and communicating with all impacted parties. Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining business and functional requirements documentation; Managing the people, work and resources involved Liaising among Product, Creative, Marketing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to facilitate clear communication and on-schedule launch of projects and initiatives  Identifying and managing risk around project execution Ensure that quality is planned and achieved  Requirements: The successful candidate will have practical experience with project management tools and methodologies, and at least seven years of Project Management experience in an ecommerce or lead generation business. Practical experience with at least 2 project development methodologies, both traditional and agile is preferred. The candidate should have demonstrable skills in the following:   Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong problem analysis and resolution Proven experience in managing project risks; practical experience with requirements gathering and documentation Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and people in a team based environment  and to develop highly successful cross-functional working relationships  Exceptional attention to detail  Demonstrate a systematic and orderly approach to planning and a flexible and innovative method to issue and risk mitigation  Be motivated and a self starter and require minimum supervision.  Possess a proven ability to understand the needs of consumers and business owners in a highly metric-driven e-commerce environment An understanding of Web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, JSP and how these interact with the application and database code is critical Proven experience with Java based architecture and in deploying system and network infrastructure to support the engineering organization is preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience About Us: Experian Interactive Media, an innovator in the lead generation marketplace, we are a successful and rapidly growing online company.
