Sr. Software Engineer

About the Senior Software Engineer Opportunity
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play an integral role in the design and development of the IntelliFind component. IntelliFind is used to identify terms in search queries and generate content recommendations for an application. This is a unique opportunity to develop methodologies that determine a users intention, even if there are only two or three words in a query or the query has several interpretations. A creative individual may approach this problem from different angles, find intelligent solutions, and improve quality over time.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of the next generation of IntelliFind components and features.

Innovate new techniques and rules to improve the quality of content recommendations, using automated feedback loops and reports to monitor progress.

Utilize current Information Retrieval technology research and implement new applications of theoretical research

Evaluate third party components and feature sets for integration purposes.

Extend tools around product, such as web interfaces, analysis components and more

Required Skills, Education & Experience

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline

6-8 years experience in software development

Software development skills in C# and SQL

Working knowledge of XML and related technologies

Solid background in object oriented development and experience with design patterns a plus

Must be comfortable writing detailed designs

Past experience with C++, Java, or other OO languages preferred

Familiarity with Information Retrieval technologies
