Sr. Technical Analyst

Primary responsibilities of this position will include providing desktop support services for all company computers.  This includes installation, diagnoses, repair, maintenance and upgrades for all PC hardware and peripherals.  Will also provide necessary troubleshooting and support to ensure workstation applications perform at optimal speeds.  This person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

 

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other computer related field is preferred.  Will have a minimum of three to five years experience working with Windows XP operating systems that includes installation, patch management, configuration and support.  Knowledge of Vista operating systems would be a plus.  In addition, must have three to five years experience working with PC hardware that includes system board replacements, memory upgrades and disk drive replacements.  Requires advanced knowledge of imaging workstations using Ghost software.  Must have the ability to support multiple workstation configurations based on need, the ability to lead projects for multi workstation rollouts, as well as the ability to collect, compile and organize facts, figures and/or other information when solving PC, LAN, network and printer issues.  Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels within the organization.  Must also be able to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member.
