Sr. Web Designer with HTML/CSS
Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Job Category: Creative/Design Career/Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Years of Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: M-130-md-41684 Sr. Web Designer with HTML/CSS We need someone with strong design and production skills. At least 3 years experience designing and producing Web sites. A solid understanding of current Web standards HTML/CSS, with a strong focus in marketing design. Their primary role would be to work with marketing team in designing and producing our product sell pages, email offers, banner ads, etc. Additionally they will be working on our ecommerce (Market Live platform) store of product catalogs and sell pages. The position does have room to grow for creative leadership and management. Plus we offer additional training to improve their skills for the position and in house leadership training if they are interested. Regular Job Duties: Design new product sell pages, emails offers, content sections, ad banners, template designs and more.Update/Modify existing Web sell page designs.Design graphic and flash web banners.Maintain and add assets to our digital asset server with Portfolio.Produce and build new web pages and templates using Web standards HTML and CSS.Update/Modify existing web pages HTML and CSS code.Build product SKUs and upsell streams in our ecommerce platform.Required Skills: Strong creative design styleStrong web graphic design last 3+ years experience must be in web related design.Strong typographyPhotoshop advancedDreamweaver intermediate to advancedCode current web standards XHTML/CSS, we use Dreamweaver, but they must know how to hand code, it is essential.Must have excellent CSS understanding and knowledge.Strong design usability.Strong attention to detail and well organized.How use Subversion SVN file management system.Proficient and fast on the computer, Mac or PC their choice.Additional skills that are be a plus! Strong information architecture.Knowledge of Extensis Portfolio asset server and cataloging software to manage digital assets.Flash intermediate to advanced.Ecommerce experience is a big plus. We use MarketLive for our platform and it can be very complicated, we do train our staff on it.Content Management System understanding and knowledge.Template systems.
