Summer Associate, Corporate Strategy

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the intern will analyze primary market (quantitative and qualitative) research to support strategic and tactical business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to support and develop a wide variety of intelligence projects including customer, industry, market and competitive information. This is an opportunity that affords a unique view of managing a dynamic startup company and its various functions.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ø Consult with executive team to help develop and execute objectives for intelligence gathering and data analysis.

Ø Gather data on competitors’ products and customers and analyze their methods and strategies.

ØSupport/drive business analyst initiatives: project definition, competitive intelligence metrics, resource acquisition and project implementation.

 

Experience required:

Ø 2+ years of consulting experience preferred.

Ø Comfortable with numbers and financial modeling.

Ø Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ø Keen analytical mind: attention to detail and problem solving abilities.

Ø Strong organizational skills.

Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.

Ø Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ø Ability to interface well at all levels of the organization.

 

Education required:

Ø Requires a bachelor’s degree (business or engineering emphasis a plus.)
