TELECOM ANALYST
Roles & Responsibilities


Voice Services Provisioning
Manage processing of invoices and
internal charge back of Blackberry and
wireless air card equipment/services.
Ensure data synchronization between
Tangoe and AMIS
- Research unknown charges and ensure
systems are updated
- Dispute invalid charges with vendor,
track progress, and follow through to
resolution
- Review and identify opportunities for cost
savings and optimization of wireless service
plans.
Place orders and track progress for new
voice services in order to meet installation
deadlines.
Place orders and track progress for
disconnect of existing voice services.
Place orders and track progress for
changes to existing services.
Manage circuit inventory and ensure
appropriate cost center assignment.
Identify and recommend enhancements
to circuit provisioning process and software
application.
Assist with testing of provisioning and
bill management software following patches
and upgrades.
Telecom Engineering Support
Manage Telecom queue in Remedy help
desk management system to ensure that all
tickets are handled within the service level
agreements established by Internal
Computing.
When required, coordinate desktop
technician, contractor, or service vendor
assistance for troubles or requests. Follow
through on progress to resolution and
escalate if necessary.
Provide software programming for
simple PBX and voice mail applications.
Telecom Invoice Processing


Assist with monthly invoice processing
activities
- receive and enter manual invoices into
bill management software
- initiate validation testing and take
appropriate action with results
- Obtain approvals for invoices
- Create batches and export to SAP
- Identify and dispute invalid charges
with vendor, track progress, and follow
through to resolution
- Generate reports
Other
Assist with voice services budget planning
process.
Special projects as assigned.
