 We are currently looking for a Training Specialist to join our team. It is the responsibility of the Training Specialist to develop the curriculum, define the content, and deliver the material for internal and external training sessions.

 

  Essential Duties & Responsibilities

§ Helps plan and develop training programs for new hires, products, and services for PointRoll's operational teams.

§ Assist in the development, coordination, and scheduling of in-house and external training sessions.

§ Conducts classroom training programs.

§ Assists in the development of computer-based training initiatives.

§ Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training sessions and suggests improvements.

§ Recommends new tools and processes to help us continually improve our training programs.

§ Is responsible for planning, designing and engineering all training materials.

§ Performs other job-related duties as required.

§ Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

§ Ability to adapt practices and techniques to the special requirements of Sr. Management and Sales

  Staff

§ Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, and agencies

§ Very familiar with a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures

§ Experience with classroom training

§ Strong attention to detail

§ Good communications skills

§ A positive attitude

§ Adaptive to change and tight deadlines

 

Computer & Software Experience

§ Required: Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word

§ Required: Technical experience with web technologies, HTML, web browsers, navigation

§ Not Required: AuthorWare, Captivate, other eLearning technologies

 

Education & Business Experience

§ Bachelor’s degree

§ 4-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area

§ Technical experience with web technologies (HTML, web browsers, navigation)

§ Experience with classroom training
