User Experience Designer

24 Seven is searching for a User Experience Designer for a rapidly growing on-demand leader on collaborative project portfolio management software.

The Product Team this User Experience Designer will be working with will have direct impact on their products, end users, and overall company success. They'll get this done by creating business applications that improve how companies manage their work. By working with their clients to understand and translate their ideas and needs into developer action, their Product Team will shape the future of their platform and product offerings.



This User Experience Designer will take the user experience to the next level by providing visual guidelines that will ultimately define the product’s overall brand, look, and feel through providing wireframe and mockups that drive the implementation of new features and interfaces.

They will assist in the design of compelling, rich and scalable user interfaces for our web based products, defining and producing the visual look & feel, graphics, styles, interactions, and layout. The work will directly contribute to the products navigation, workflow, visual design and overall user experience. As a key partner in the Engineering Group, this candidate will help assure our clients products are the best they can be.

Qualified candidates must have experience in the following:

5 years graphic design and visual design experience

3 years experience designing rich web applications

3 years experience with web 2.0 technologies

DHTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.

2 years experience in Interaction Design andor Information Architecture

2 years experience with User-Centered Design practices

2 year experience with the Agile with SCRUM development methodology

Expertise with standard design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent) Adobe Flash and JavaScript Bachelors Degree in Human Factors and Interaction Design preferred; Visual Design Degree a huge plus!

User Experience candidates with a background creating and designing wireframes (as well as the creative design of the wireframes) and worked for companies like banking institutions or software companies who create corporate database platforms would be ideal candidates for this position.

This is a fulltime contract position with possible opportunity down the line for fulltime conversion since the company is still in major growth mode - but it cannot be guaranteed at this point.
