WebArt is a full-service agency that provides website design-and-build services, web hosting, support, Internet-based communications tools, online business databases, multimedia presentations, e-commerce solutions and dynamic content management.

We have created a new position of Web Developer. This person will execute website design concepts and must have expert knowledge of PHP, HTML, Java, MySQL, Joomla or similar CMS, CSS, site layout, CMS application setup, training and navigation.

Our Web Developer will serve multiple internal and external customers, and should be able to function effectively in the more casual environment of a small company. On a personal level, we are looking for a person who will be well-liked and respected; someone with a natural warmth and sense of humor who invites interaction.

Daily duties include development, creation, and maintenance of website applications, web content and other online projects. You should also be able to handle shifting priorities and multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Qualifications1-3 years experience in web development Bachelor's degree in computer science, design or related discipline Expert knowledge of PHP, HTML, Java, MySQL, Joomla or similar CMS, and CSS Core-coding experience with open-source application Joomla Creative ability, aesthetics, and layout Superior organizational skills Capable of working effectively with Graphic Designer Up-to-date on architecture principles and techniques IT support of mid-size company Web server support of multiple platforms, Windows and Linux

 

PAY / BENEFITS

 

The base salary for this Web Developer position will be between $25,000 and $30,000 per year, based on your experience and abilities.

 

The WebArt 401(k) program is available to those employees with the company for at least one year.

 

Health insurance is also available.
