Web Analytics Manager

To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a resourceful and tech-savvy Web Analytics Manager to join our team.  The Manager will be responsible for reporting and analyzing all web statistics and providing clear feedback and recommendations to management.  The Manager will oversee the collection, distribution, and analysis of critical performance data.  The position is located within the online division reporting to Director of Planning, and provides support to the organization's ecommerce and online content initiatives.

 

This individual will be the “go to” person who effectively identifies and articulates the drivers that most influence our business.

 

Responsibilities:Distribute web statistics reports to stakeholders in a reliable and timely manner with insightful analysis of website and marketing dataParticipate in meetings as an analytical lead to contribute insights based on analysis of web stats that will lead to a better user experiencePartner with Web Development to forecast and then measure affects of new initiativesContribute to the building of various profitability, retention, customer profile/ segmentation, and ROI models as appropriateSupport strategic research initiatives including (customer research, usage analysis, etc.). Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to inform and support business decisions, such as:  Support data collection and presentation creations; understand the key drivers and audiences; establish key performance metrics against which the business and sub-teams can measure themselves; disseminate qualitative weekly business summariesManage web-reporting vendor relationship(s)Assess alternatives and provide periodic recommendations for web-analytics toolsPartner with stakeholders to create reporting requirements and functional specifications and define final scope of the reporting deliverables for specific projectsPeriodically extract data from databases to support business and experience initiatives

RequirementsBachelor's Degree in quantitative field2-5 year's professional experience in modeling and analysisDirect experience with CRM systems and relational databases is preferredTechnical knowledge of current direct response techniques, strategies and trends preferredUnderstanding of various analytics technologiesKnowledge of Snap or other web-based survey tools and MySQL or Oracle queries is a plusAbility to think strategically and develop creative solutions to analytic challengesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with othersAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
