Web Application Developer
Hulu's small but growing team is seeking a talented Web Application Developer to build web-based applications that help people find and enjoy the world's premium content when, where and how they want it. If you are interested in an innovative and collaborative environment full of passionate people who thrive on breaking new ground, Hulu may be the place for you.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and deploy web-based customer-facing applications.
· Collaborate with product managers and web designers to build the optimal interfaces for searching, browsing, consuming, and sharing premium video content.
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years experience in Ruby, C#, .PHP or comparable programming language.
· Demonstrable expertise in software architecture and systems design.
· Strong knowledge of SQL and databases.
· Strong knowledge of AJAX or similar technologies.
· Experience with consuming web services.
· Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc).
· Experience with Flash highly desirable but not required.
· Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
· Some knowledge of server-side application development (web services, databases, etc).
Education:
BS/MS in Computer Science
