Web Design & Email Marketing Specialist

SENIOR PRODUCTION SPECIALIST, WEB AND EMAIL

 

 

SUMMARY:

Excellent opportunity to join a global leader in asset management located in midtown Manhattan. Collaborate with editorial resources from a variety of marketing groups throughout company to create and execute marketing campaigns. Work closely with Design and Data Distribution to setup email templates, manage email lists and distribute a variety of marketing emails: newsletters, invitations, etc. Work closely with the Design, Information Architecture and Web Development to create CSS-driven, HTML templates that reflect the identified design and branding for our websites. Work closely with business lines to align and integrate their more complicated content into both client facing and internal sites. Work schedule: 9am - 5pm (overtime eligible)

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•         Consult with marketing to understand their email and web communications needs

•         Work with Digital Design resources to create content specific graphics

•         Work with the Distribution Services to identify, upload and manage email lists

•         Translate email and web designs from Photoshop and Fireworks to HTML to be entered into Exact Target for email distribution or into our content management application for web delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:  

•         Minimum of 3-4 years of HTML development

•         Minimum of 2 years email development

•         Minimum of 2 years Financial Services or related

•         BA Degree or equivalent

•         Strong knowledge of email distribution tools, such as ExactTarget, CheetahMail, Silverpop, etc...

•         Knowledge of Multimedia and Interactive tools

•         Strong multi-tasking skills; execute multiple projects on deadline

•         Experience in a fast-paced web production environment

•         Organized, with a very strong attention to detail

•         Good people, relationship-building and communication skills

•         Strong in Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks & Dreamweaver

•         Fluent usage of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

•         Understand email marketing best practices

•         Excellent HTML, CSS and Email Template skills

•         Clean and structured code - must submit web URLs of HTML/CSS work for review prior to interview.
