WebMD Health Contract Recruiter ***YOU MUST INCLUDE A URL TO YOUR ONLINE PORTFOLIO WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION***In this position, you will be a senior web design lead for new prototypes and concepts, as well as manage and maintain 3 independent sites in the Owned and Operated group. This includes leading the UI design process and implementation of xHtml coding across the multiple sites. You will oversee all interface specifications and guidelines to ensure consistency throughout each of the sites.Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Working with business analysts and engineers to define new concepts, develop detailed user-centered designs. Working with graphic designer/s and the content team to produce highly effective methods of displaying relevant articles, news items, etc. QualificationsYou should have a bachelor's degree or better in user interface design, graphic design or a related field, with at least 5 years experience in providing a range of user interaction designs for the Web and other applications. Additional qualifications include: Fluent in CSS2 (and CSS3), xHTML and Photoshop Good knowledge of JavaScript Flash skills are a plus (but not required) May write content for the web site (both editorial and promotional) May perform usability testing Familiar with database integration Familiar with CMS (Content Management Systems) Experienced in applying design processes to user-interface development Experienced in creating wire-frames, and establishing style guidelines Demonstrated ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams Must be very detailed oriented Very strong graphical, written and verbal skills A proven track record in creating leading edge interactive designs Creative self-starter with attention to detail Experience in working in a similar health-related environment
