Responsibilities:

§ Work directly with a cross-functional team of creative types, graphic designers, and account teams to design and innovate cutting edge sites

§ Implement customer website look and feel, from concept to completion, driving UI design and usability, while pushing the edge on polish and chrome

§ Work closely with product management and in-house graphic designers to bring the best UI and community experience to life, while working with internal and external engineers to flesh out page functionality

§ Architect, design, code, test, and implement scalable and reliable web applications (Internet and Intranet) using Microsoft technologies, specifically ASP and Transact SQL

§ Translate business requirements into specifications and design

§ Provide development estimates outlining business and technical risks

§ Ensure the application of information assurance policies, principles, and practices

 

 

Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s Degree required

§ 2-3+ years' experience in developing web applications

§ Experience with PHP

§ Experience with SQL

§ Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, DHTML, .., and AJAX

§ Understanding of cross browser compatibility (Firefox, IE, Opera)

§ Experience developing web sites for highly trafficked consumer businesses

§ Passion for community-driven Web 2.0 user experiences

§ Ability to work in a multidisciplinary development environment with software engineers, marketing representatives and graphic designers

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§ Familiarity with graphic development tools such as Photoshop

§ Experience with Java and J2EE front-end technologies such as JSP, JSF, Velocity, and Struts
