Web Developer with Java Experience

GDC Media, an IAC company, is gearing up to launch a new child-oriented portal and interactive entertainment company.  In preparation for the launch, we are looking to expand the team we have already assembled.  This represents an outstanding “ground-floor” opportunity to be a part of a business that will transform the way kids interact with the web. Position title: Web DeveloperLocation: Boulder, Colorado Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following;  Create and review HTML / CSS templates from design mockups Test templates across browsers Implement and edit Javascript code Identifying, documenting and tracking bugs and browser compatibility issues Generating design mockups in Photoshop Revising designs and templates with feedback from development and business teams Experience & Skills required;  Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and web design concepts Ability to hand-code HTML / CSS (and not just generate pages inDreamweaver) Knowledge of browser compatibility issues Ability to understand and code Javascript Experience developing templates for content-managed websites Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work well with both development and business teams Enthusiasm for Web 2.0 applications and new web technologies The ideal candidate will also have: Experience with AJAX development or a strong desire to learn Basic Flash / Actionscript knowledge or better Experience working with RSS feeds and other streaming content The successful candidate must like working in a creative, fast paced environment & be capable of handling multiple requests with a fast production cycle. Education;  BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.To apply:Please send resume and cover letter to jobs@iac.com and include "Web Developer – Front End" in the subject line of the email.  Applications must include salary requirements in order to be considered.
