Web Developer with php / HTML / MySQL experience

Small (7 person) internet company, in business since 1996, is seeking a second tech to perform various tasks. This is a full time position in our office, Mon-Fri.

This position is in southern NJ, about 15 minutes from Exit 34 of Rt. 295 and Exit 4 of the NJ Turnpike in zip code 08055.

Complete familiarity and working knowledge of mysql, php, and HTML is required. 


Please note: A large part of the daily job is online work with adult websites. The candidate will be exposed to adult content on the web as a regular course of business. We operate in a normal office environment, however, if being exposed to standard adult content on the internet is upsetting or not acceptable to you please do not submit your resume for consideration.


Duties to include server management in conjunction with our hosting company. This involves apache updates, secure certificate updates, trouble shooting, domain name tasks, general maintenance, etc.

Also working with web forms, credit card processing, gateways, merchant accounts, content management systems, new product implementation, and all other general technical needs (email support and setup, connectivity, PC troubleshooting, etc.)arising from our business.

The ideal candidate should be a self starter, be detail oriented, and be able to work well without supervision.  The candidate also needs to have a proactive attitude with regards to the upkeep and operation of the companies web properties.
