Web Producer

Summary: Vantage Deluxe World Travel, a leading U.S. tour operator with more than $250 million in annual sales, is seeking a Web Producer to design, manage and implement interactive marketing projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal clients and external vendors to manage projects from definition through launch, meeting all milestones and deadlines. Additionally, this position will be responsible for building and blasting emails, as well as designing templates and graphical elements for web pages, emails and other interactive marketing initiatives.

 

Proven abilities in project management, interactive design, hand-coded HTML, and CSS are required. We are looking for a strong communicator and flexible collaborator who has a positive attitude and enjoys working on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

· Manage multiple interactive projects including web site enhancements, email programs, and interactive marketing initiatives.

 

· Work closely with internal clients to develop specs, write RFPs for vendors, develop schedules and see projects through successful testing and launch.

 

· Build, test and blast emails using email platforms, HTML and HTML editors.

 

· Perform updates on web pages using content management systems and HTML.

 

· Create mock-ups and designs for web pages, email templates, banners, etc. using current industry best practices.

 

· Work with external web developers and internal IS&T department to facilitate fixes of web site bugs.

 

· Run reports on Web site traffic and activity using WebTrends and internal reporting tools.

 

· Deliver projects in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines.

 

· Oversee and prioritize work effectively. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Targeted Qualifications

 

· 3 - 5 years’ experience in interactive marketing production.

 

· Proven experience managing interactive projects within tight timelines and budgets. Experience should include working closely with clients, vendors and internal resources to manage projects from definition to launch.

 

· Ability to design strong email and web page templates and graphic elements.

 

· Experience testing email blasts, web pages and web applications.

 

· Software skills: Hand-coded HTML, CSS, PhotoShop are essential.

 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

· Effective and creative problem-solving skills.

 

· Strong organizational abilities, including project scoping, time and resource management.

 

· The following skills would also be helpful: Knowledge of web analytics, Javascript, SQL, Visio, Illustrator. Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies and methodologies.
