If so read on...A multi-media marketing firm specializing in online advertising, web site development and hosting, SEO, SEM, print advertising etc.. is in need of a seasoned Business analyst for a key position on its Customer Portal team. The Customer Portal is a multi-million dollar online sales channel and customer extranet responsible for designing, launching and managing innovative advertising and media products that serve small to medium-sized businesses.This position will be a key contributor in all facets of the Customer Portal, including on-line sales, customer service and Sales channel support. This position will plan, analyze and document requirements, coordinate and control project activities for new features and functionality. In addition the Manager will provide ongoing analysis to understand trends in key customer metrics and measure results of Portal initiatives.What you need to qualify for this position:• 5-7 years experience as a Business Analyst for an enterprise eCommerce site. • Proven ability to manage development projects, define requirements, write use cases and design workflow processes. • Analytical skills with demonstrable results driven from projects and recommendations. • Strong knowledge of systems architecture and common integration methods. • Excellent understanding of user-centered design methods and Web development processes. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate convincingly in small and large groups to all levels of the organization. • Ability to work and coordinate with multiple groups, including business owners, product managers, usability engineers, software developers, and senior executives. • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, preferably with training in Marketing, Communications or HCI discipline; MBA preferred.Brief list of responsibilities:• Provide rationale for projects including strategic and tactical assessments, and an estimate of impact on business objectives including monetization opportunities. • Conduct industry and market analysis of feature/function and trends; manage focus groups or concept testing when appropriate. • Develop product/feature positioning and related customer messages based on targeted audience and user personas. • Determine project scope and roadmap for staging of work and feature sets. • Define primary user scenarios, business process flows and identify system architecture dependencies. • Deliver functional requirements to describe intended user capabilities, business goals and rules that apply. • Prepare for operational activities to support production deployment. • Coordinate internal and external communications and selling of feature/function. • Use testing and conversion metrics to optimize site usability and increase conversion and task completion rates. • Provide ongoing analysis of customer behavior and trends to identify and develop new revenue-/margin-generating opportunities. • Collaborate with User Experience Managers to inform their activities and development process. • Identify and lead process improvements that make the development process better.So if you are a seasoned Business Analyst with experience working on eCommerce Sites please apply today!
