eCommerce Marketing Manager

If you are an experienced eCommerce Marketing Manager with strong analytical skills and a passion for influencing consumer behavior, we need you.  You must be a highly motivated individual with the right skills and experience who can create strategy, drive implementation and provide analysis for our rapidly growing online store.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will create the marketing and merchandising strategy for our online store based on deep analysis of buying trends, site analytics and e-marketing results.  You will share P&L responsibility for driving sales revenue through implementation of ecommerce, direct marketing activities and on-site merchandising.  You will conduct detailed analyses of campaign results and generate reports for senior management.

 

Responsibilities:Develop, design and execute CRM marketing programs spanning email, website and offline print messaging channels.  You will own and manage the full campaign lifecycle, including creative development, set up of campaign assets, implementation, tracking and performance reporting. Success will be measured by KPIs such as increases in revenue from product up-sell and cross-sell, new product trial rates or purchase frequency. Drive implementation of campaigns across various IT platforms, including R&D, web development, and email.  Requires a strong technical understanding of our systems and how they interoperate, and the managerial skills to drive completion across different functional groups.Conduct deep analysis of site activity, including pathing, conversion, and cart abandonment.  Conduct A/B and  multivariate testing to make recommendations for optimal product mix, site layout and in-store promotionsMonitor CRM email including delivery, open, CTR and conversion rates to evaluate sales lift by product, user or promotion.  You will own and manage the entire email lifecycle, including copy design, offer optimization, implementation, tracking and reporting. Ensure proper set up of all product attributes, including product specifications, copy and key features and benefits.  You will become an expert in our e-commerce platform and its capabilities. Thoroughly understand competitive landscape: pricing, product offering, navigation and customer experience. Champion ideas for maintaining best in class in website performance, presentation and product positioning. Manage all aspects of product lifecycle, including pricing, packaging, positioning and assortment for over 300 different products.

Qualifications:Required: 3 to 5 years of consumer online retail marketing experience.  You must have online B2C experience. Required: 1 or more years of manager level experience, preferably at a public company.Required: Analytics experience, e.g., reviewing data, interpreting trends, translating them to recommendations. Direct experience using Business Objects, Omniture, Offermatica or SilverPop is highly desirable. Direct experience using an ecommerce platform, e.g., setting up products, profiles and scenarios, preferably with ATG, is highly desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.  Candidates must have advanced MS Excel abilities, including writing formulas and manipulating queries. Must be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Demonstrated excellent organizational and informational gathering skills B.S. / B.A. degree required, preferably in statistics, math or economics.  MBA preferred.
