The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities Train and educate Risk Management internal and external customers across all product lines and vertical markets in accordance with company established customer satisfaction standards Play a key role in driving usage of Risk Management products through product, workflow, process and best practice education Identify upsell opportunities and refer to the appropriate contact in the sales organization utilizing standard operating procedures Consult with managers and customers to identify appropriate training and education programs Determine customer and audience requirements Conduct needs analyses Recommend training/education solution Develop, deliver and track results Track and report internal and external customer activity, feedback, issues and needs Develop, deliver and maintain training and education programs, curricula and material Create and maintain internal and external customer training project plans and reportsQualifications BS/BA or equivalent experience 5 years experience in a training consultative environment Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, consultative, communication, presentation and negotiation skills Business maturity Product, technical and domain expertise in the skills being taught in the training programs Effective project management skills (able to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time) Understands the fundamental vision, strategy, products, and organization of the internal and external customer Ability to align customer and sales training objectives with the company strategy Ability to apply the systematic design of instruction for training course development Understands and applies Adult learning theory to instructional design methods Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team, as well as independently, to accomplish team goals Travel required (60 %)Promote the value of LexisNexis Risk Management products to all customers and prospects through product education geared to the customers workflow, process and industry best practices Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Market Planning to develop account specific strategic training, track usage pre- and post training, recognize and report revenue trends, recognize sales upsell opportunities, support specific sales activities, and report on competitive information and threats Conduct needs analysis to determine training requirements and propose solutions that meet the identified requirements Consult with LEXISNEXIS internal experts and external vendors, as required, to ensure accuracy of training materials Design, revise, maintain and/or coordinate integrated on-going training programs, materials and curricula which meet customer needs and expectations. This includes: utilizing adult learning theory, agreed upon instructional design model, developing and/or expanding domain expertise; preparing learning goals and objectives; defining program content, scope and sequence of learning activities; determining instructional methods, producing course materials (job aids and lesson plans/instructor guides, and training manuals, instructional delivery methods, knowledge and demonstration based evaluation and testing and reporting Work with the learning management system administrator(s) to ensure all scheduling, record-keeping and administrative tasks are completed Create a collaborative learning environment for internal and external customers; conduct formal (structured) training sessions; instructor-led facilitation and learning experiences, manage/facilitate group discussions, provide follow-up feedback to trainees, managers, sales, marketing, market planners, product development as appropriate Timely completion of reports Timely communication, via appropriate process, of customer feedback and information Subject matter expertise of training and education trends and best practices Subject matter expertise of domain trends and best practices Other duties as assignedOther Information Closing Statement LexisNexis employs over 13,000 people in more than 20 countries who serve customers in more than 100 countries.
