Attorney Recruiting Data Coordinator
Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm with 1,200 attorneys serving clients from 18 worldwide offices, has an opportunity to join the Firmwide Attorney Recruiting team.
*This position can be located in either the Los Angeles or New York office.*
Under supervision of the Senior Coordinator of Attorney Recruiting, this position provides administrative support to the Firmwide Attorney Recruiting Department, including data report generation, statistical analysis, data entry and data maintenance, attorney recruiting staff database training, and other tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating the development, maintenance, and analysis of all department reports and statistics;
• Serving as the primary department contact for all inquiries related to the attorney recruiting database;
• Training Attorney Recruiting and Attorney Development staff on the attorney recruiting database;
• Training Attorney Recruiting and Attorney Development staff, attorneys, summer associates, and international summer interns on the summer associate work allocation system;
• Coordinating the development of instructional resources for the recruiting and work allocation databases, including, but limited to user guides, quick reference sheets, and online tutorials (TutorPro);
• Coordinating all recruiting-related surveys;
• Providing Fall and Spring OCI support;
• Coordinating Portal and public website content;
• Coordinating NALP form data collection and submission; and
• Conducting market research and analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree;
• Background in business or statistics preferred;
• At least three years professional experience;
• Law firm experience preferred;
• Advanced website development, and report-writing experience; and
• Exposure to web-based databases preferred (PeopleSoft, viDesktop, LawCruitWeb).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and internet navigation;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Advanced analytical and presentation skills;
• Proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling;
• Exercise good judgment, formulate new ideas, and make sound decisions under a high level of pressure;
• Be highly organized, dependable, flexible and detail-oriented;
• Demonstrate effective customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Travel when necessary; and
• Work overtime as needed.
