Audit Director & Manager Opportunities

* These positions can be based in any of the three local offices - Boston, Burlington or Quincy.Director and Manager level Auditors required to focus on a growing practice of SEC clients in the Boston area. As part of the SEC audit team, Directors & Managers are responsible for:• Leading and planning audit engagements• Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations• Ensuring that all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters are prepared with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy• Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback• Developing an understanding of client''s business and becoming a "functional expert" in the areas of concentration• Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm''s standards and policies• Attracting, developing and retaining top talent• Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.All types of industry sector experience will be considered however, there are specific needs within Technology based businesses and Real Estate organizations.Who we're looking for•  Experience in auditing commercial companies at a management level or above•  Experience in the planning and management of client engagements•  Experience in the management and development of a team•  Certified Public Accountant, CPA certification.Additional Experience Preferred, but NOT required:•  Experience working for a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm•  Experience working in a paperless audit environment•  Experience in business and practice development•  MBA or other advanced business degree.About our clientMcGladrey & Pullen, LLP, is a leading national CPA firm focused on meeting the audit and accounting needs of mid-sized companies.
