Excellent Law Firm in Downtown LA in its 55th year of practice is seeking to add a mid-level bankruptcy paralegal to its practice - this is a NEW position and not a replacement. 

This position will support several well-known and prestigious bankruptcy attorneys in a beautiful Downtown law firm of 20 attorneys, many of whom are presently acting as Court appointed Trustees and Receivers.  This firm represents debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, buyers, and sellers in bankruptcy actions.

With the economy having slowed down, bankruptcy has become an increasingly growing and important area of the law, and this firm is considered to have one of the most well-respected bankruptcy practices in California, with new cases added daily. 

This is an ideal position for a paralegal with solid bankruptcy experience working with Ch. 11 cases -OR- for a solid litigation paralegal who is willing and enthusiastic about being trained in bankruptcy law.  The firm has excellent benefits and a pleasant group of attorneys.

Requirements
-Paralegal Certificate or Declaration Compliant with B&P Code Section 6450

-2+ years' experience as a bankruptcy paralegal -OR-

-5+ years' experience as a litigation paralegal

-Solid work history

-Ability to interact with all levels of staff and attorneys
