Billing Assistant
Why hassle with a commute to New York City?
The Armonk office of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP is currently seeking a Billing Assistant. The ideal candidate will have either a BS degree, or comparable combination of education and work experience.
· Excellent computer skills and organizational skills are required;
· Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word is preferred;
· Knowledge of ELITE is helpful, but not required.
Job Responsibilities include:
· Assist the Billing Department in performing general office duties.
· Assist in compiling data, editing and preparing final invoices for clients;
· Assist in time and disbursement editing and report distribution;
· Assist with follow up during the month with billing timekeepers on projected billings;
· Assist in producing and mailing of accounts receivable month-end statements;
Candidates must be flexible to work overtime during the week as well as occasional weekends.
