Billing Operator

This position is responsible for working with clients, billing partners and secretaries in handling all aspects of the client billing process, including preparation, audit and remittance of invoices.  Other duties include maintaining and updating billing files. Special projects as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be specifically listed on resume in order to be considered for this position.High School Diploma or GED Required.Minimum one year legal billing experience.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 Some College is preferred.  Prefer large law firm legal billing experience/high volume. Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of accounting policies and procedures is desired.  Need strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.  CMS or Elite experience is a plus. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, solid interpersonal skills, be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Clearance of Firm standard background checks is required.
