Business Affairs Talent Coordinator (ELECTRONIC ARTS) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION: EA Entertainment, Inc. - Function as liaison between EA Legal, A/P & third party with respect to the administration of contract execution and payment. - Manage, update and own database of all information relating to the hiring of service and consulting agreements by EA Entertainment and EA Production, including billing and other requirements, guild status, agency and legal representation. - Monitor and ensure compliance with EA Legal/Business Affairs/Tax and A/P polices and procedures.EA Productions Create and coordinate performer contracts and bookings. Once talent is cast and negotiated, draft standard union agreements and coordinate efforts to ensure timely payroll. - Make booking calls and coordinate recording schedules upon Manager’s direction. - Draft and send Station 12 clearances to union. - Once talent is cleared draft standard talent union agreements. - Function as liaison between internal EA teams, Agents, A/P & TEAM Services with respect to the administration of contracts, payment of all required guild pension/health/welfare payments by EA Productions (EA guild-signatory affiliates). - Manage, update and own database of all information relating to the live-action production and music components of interactive games by EA and its guild signatory affiliates (EA Entertainment and EA Production), including billing and other requirements, guild status, agency and legal representation. - Monitor and ensure compliance with EA Business Affairs polices and procedures. - Monitor and ensure compliance with union rules, policies and procedures relative to the EA Contract Process. - Other: Open new Union projects, Draft and send in WGA contributions when applicable, etc.Create, coordinate and maintain specialized reporting, research and ongoing operational functions throughout EA Entertainment and EA Productions by franchise and/or other upon request. - Filter incoming proposals and requests. - Research upon request. - Prepare and maintain reports on announcers, actors, celebrities and writers.REQUIRED: - Minimum 3-5 years administrative and/or coordinator experience in an entertainment or legal department. - Proactive work ethic and proven calendaring skills for tracking and project scheduling. - Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; polished professional; communicates with impact. Proven ability to interface and communicate with all facets of the company (Studio, PR, Marketing, etc.) and manage expectations. - Proven creative problem solving skills. - Passionate about entertainment and displays a deep knowledge of interactive and general media entertainment.Additional Requirements: - 3-5 years of recent proficiency in MS Office programs: Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel. - Knowledge of basic web entertainment and research sites, talent databases, and graphics applications (i.e. PhotoShop) a plus.
