Client Financial Management Specialist

Client Financial Management provides global financial management and business advisory services. These Finance professionals provide their services from the opportunity phase through contract completion in the areas of GAAP compliance, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting, contract profit and loss management, and advisory services to our customer leadership teams and corporate leadership. Client Financial Management delivers these services around the globe through a network of Finance professionals via help-desk support, Shared Service operations and customer-dedicated on-site support.Key responsibilities for the CFM Specialist role include:• Working at an Engagement Site to help manage the accounting for a large engagement. • Working with engagement executives to set up and coordinate an engagement(s)' work, financial management processes, tools, and reporting structure, including analyzing financial results for the engagement team(s), the client(s), and the appropriate internal organizations• Executing internal financial processes for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.• Assisting with internal and external audits (including state and government audits).• Managing expenses and revenue recognition.• Executing client/program financial processes -- Client Reporting within Great Plains• Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley • Supervising CFM Analyst(s) and, if applicable, other members of the engagement financial support.• Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, Accenture finance policies and local statutory requirements• Executing on client/program financial processes: assisting/developing financial reporting package, developing bill template and establishing/managing collection process• Setting up on engagement financial management tools• Executing on Accenture time reporting and audit process• Performing on forecast management activities (input collection, processing, reasonableness validation, interpretation and report creation)• Performing on comparison of performance data to metrics, and preparing compliance reports• Ability to work overtime and work on-site at the Accenture client location or field officeWho we're looking for•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 OR•  Bachelor's degree in Finance or a Business Related field with a minimum of 9 credit hours of Accounting and a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0•  Experience at the Specialist level in an Accenture Finance role•  2+ years accounting or finance work experience•  Good knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley•  Strong Excel skills•  Experience with Government Accounting•  Experience with Great Plains and/or SAP•  Experience with Comet and/or Microsoft AccessAbout our clientOur client is one of the world's premier management consulting firms with operations in over 30 countries. .
