Commercial Attorney

Description:
Albemarle Corporation, a public company traded on the NYSE and leading producer of specialty chemicals is seeking a Commercial Attorney for its Baton Rouge, LA Location.  This position reports directly the Assistant General Counsel.

Job Responsibilities include:
Partner with senior management on a variety of commercial matters
Draft, review, revise, negotiate, and interpret commercial arrangements
Legal issues related to the sale and purchase of products and businesses
Manage outside counsel arrangements

Essentials Qualifications:
State Bar association membership, in good standing
Min 5 years of combined law firm and in-house experience
Strong global contract experience
Excellent communication skills
Energetic, Independent and business oriented
