Compliance Specialist-Investment Bank:

Chief of Compliance is seeking a compliance professional who will be responsible for regulatory and compliance issues relating to a global investment banking services firm. This Investment Bank and its Hedge Funds are a very prestigious boutique and its legal department grows their compliance team. Opportunity to join a fast growing and very successful organization. Work with some of the best attorneys, bankers, hedge fund and compliance professionals in the industry. This is a highly sought after position.

Position-

· Your responsibilities will include personal trade reviews, AML, and general compliance. Competitive compensation, base + bonus.

·  Participate in the development of compliance program and forensic testing plans

·  Conduct in-house reviews to test compliance with policies and procedures and coordinate follow-up or improvements

·  Assist in drafting of new and revised policies and procedures

·  Implement compliance policies and procedures  


Requirements-

·Must be from financial industry-investment bank, broker-dealer, investment or hedge fund experience is ideal. 

·Highly analytical, solutions-oriented mindset and detail-oriented in identifying issues and providing sound and practical advice

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills

·  Strong leadership and relationship management skills

Handle day to day trading issues, e.g., restricted lists

·Minimum 2 years experience.  Law degree a plus, not required.
·Top candidates with excellent, on-target experience and very good academics.
