Job Description:
The Chicago office is seeking a Conflicts Analyst I who works with a team of individuals in assembling and analyzing information reports for attorney review. The role includes (1) researching company information from external sources as well as searching internal proprietary databases, (2) developing the ability to analyze the results and highlight critical issues and (3) assembling a complete and concise summary report of potential conflicts issues based on past Firm representations, along with recognizing steps for conflicts resolution. This position interacts closely with the Supervisor, Conflicts Analysts II and III, and New Business Department as well as attorneys, secretaries, and is part of a conflicts team of analysts. The position requires acute attention to detail, and superior organizational, researching and analytical abilities.
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask in a time-sensitive environment, possess a good customer service demeanor, and be flexible. Two years experience in research, reference library work, conflicts searching, or related experiences and Bachelors degree are required. Conflicts-specific training will be provided. Familiarity with LegalKEY, Dun & Bradstreet and Directory of Corporate Affiliations, and is a plus.
