Cost Center Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY: • Analyst will partner with the Global Marketing groups, Information Technology and Global/Divisional Finance and Human Resources. • Individual will provide accounting support to the Global Marketing groups along with the Divisional Human Resources, IT and Finance groups.• The accounting support includes monthly closing, forecasting, and annual budgeting responsibilities with a heavy emphasis on project management for the Global Marketing teams. • In addition, this individual provides critical analytical support to the business partners. • Successful candidate will be a self- motivated, proactive individual that thinks analytically while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with multiple business partners, including Vice Presidents, as well as fellow finance colleagues.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Prepare account reconciliations (P&L and Balance Sheet) • Project management• Transactional processing and analysis of monthly results• Effective communication at all levels.• Ability to elevate critical issues to the next level.Who we're looking forEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:•  BS Finance, Accounting or Business; CPA and/or MBA preferred•  Minimum 6-8 Years experience in a finance or accounting role•  Past consumer products industry experience preferredSystems knowledge:•  Experience with SAP•  Strong Excel skills, as well as rest of MS Office suite•  Experience with Hyperion a plus•  Analytical Review•  Forecasting and budget support•  Analytical Review•  Forecasting and Budgeting experienceAbout our clientGlobal Leader in Consumer GoodsWhat's on the offerGreat Benefits.
