The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position exists to plan, lead, and manage the execution of acquisition integrations, including alliance implementations and divestitures, that support US Legal Markets? strategic direction and initiatives. Accountabilities:Plan, manage, and lead to successful closure the integration of acquisition, alliances, and divestitures to support USLM Solution Lines, under the supervision of the VP SBD: 1. Lead high-level planning all integration elements consisting of integration planning in due diligence, input to employment agreements and transition service agreements needed for transition, coordination with Solution Line and USLM functional leaders for the development of interconnected integration plans, assuring that functional integration plans do not overlap or have gaps, providing input to acquisition financial plan to cover investments and expenses required for integration. 2. Lead pre-closing detailed integration project plan development using Microsoft Project or other formal project planning methodology. Coordinate detailed integration project plans with Solution Line and USLM functional leaders for buy-off and consolidate functional project plans into an overall project plan suitable for review and tracking of progress by Solution Line and USLM Executive management. 3. Manage numerous functional teams to accomplish all aspects of the day-to-day integration plan by acting as USLM on-site lead to manage and oversee each functional integration project. Solve day-to-day problems between USLM integration project leaders and acquired company functional equivalents, so that integration efforts move smoothly, on time, on budget, and accomplish their business objectives. Schedule and phase integration projects so they can be successfully accommodated by the acquired company and to assure it is not overwhelmed by LN integration initiatives. Provide recommendations to the VP SBD on adjusting the integration plan to meet on-site circumstances as they are identified. 4. Manage integration budget of $3M-$5M, by monitoring expenditures and assuring that all budget-funded initiatives are implemented within budget. 5. Provide focus on achieving business results at the acquired company so that revenues, profit, product development milestones are achieved during the integration period to meet the acquisition financial plan. 6. Keep USLM senior executive management fully and continuously apprised of progress during integration and confer with them on material problems and issues. Communicate all issues and recommended solutions to USLM and Functional leaders so they understand the climate and pressures on-site at the acquired company and are sensitive to the people aspects of successful integration. 7. Report business results and integration progress to the Integration Steering Committee on a monthly basis, providing actual financial performance against acquisition case and detailed progress and of each integration project. 8. Develop trust with acquired principals and leaders so they are comfortable with LN?s integration plans and to foster the open and honest communications between them and the on-site integration manager to expose problems and concerns early enough to be mitigated. 9.To apply, please Click Here
