Director - Non-Traditional Research Group

His/her responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Sourcing and meeting with hedge fund and hedge fund-of-fund managers helping to build and maintain a robust database of information on managers that can be used in client manager searches and for proprietary research projects performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence on hedge funds and funds-of-funds using quantitative tools to analyze client portfolios: conduct peer group and style analyses, efficient frontier optimizations and stress testing of portfolios assisting in monthly and quarterly performance and risk reporting required by clients interfacing with clients to understand their portfolio needs; assist in the development of investment policy statements and in the implementation of a diversified hedge fund portfolioWho we're looking forFive to ten years of relevant work experience (see below). MBAs or CFA charter holders, with a strong interest in finance and investments, are preferred. We are looking for people with excellent oral and written communication skills complemented with strong analytical skills. Strong working knowledge of finance theory, economics and statistics is required. Candidates must possess high quality control standards and time management skills; must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines; and must be comfortable conducting one-on-one meetings with investment managers.
