The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This is the senior position in quality assurance responsible for managing QA teams for multiple product lines within the Practice Management Business. This position sets the quality and process standards for the workgroup as well as providing multiple QA teams with strategic direction as well as day-to-day management and direction to accomplish on-time, efficient delivery of high quality software products.Qualifications Qualifications: 1. Position requires a bachelor?s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent technical experience. 2. Ability to work independently. 3. Excellent communication skills. 4. Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a management level. 5. Ability to work through complex problems and reach a workable solution. 6. Knowledge of large complex systems. 7. Ability to work in ambiguous situations. 8. Proven leadership skills demonstrating the ability to deliver high quality complex systems on time, on budget and to specification. 9. Ten years of progressive experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance. Accountabilities: 1. Leads multiple QA teams across multiple product lines to successfully and consistently deliver high quality software products on time, on budget and to specification. 2. Directly manages QA managers and staff providing technical and personnel leadership and setting a consistent direction across our product lines. 3. Directly interfaces with Product Management to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards. 4. Leads multiple aspects of product maintenance and customer problem resolution with respect to the product and its associated service levels. 5. Sets the process and quality standards for the development team.
