Director of Quality Assurance

Unique Opportunity for a Senior QA Manager to direct a top-flight QA team at a growing, successful, publicly held technology solutions firm.

 

Responsibilites

 

· Directs the efforts of a test team of approximately 15-20 including remote resources as well as consultants.

· Defines and manages the Quality Assurance strategy, deliverables, methodologies and processes for testing all eDiscovery applications

· Directs the development of procedures and process that will facilitate a tight integration of test with the overall project efforts so that Analysis/Design, Development & Test are one highly integrated unit.

· Drives the functional test and automation efforts to insure a rapid regression of the entire product suite.

· Works with the development teams to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for all releases.

· Defines and manages the performance and load testing efforts of all eDiscovery products.  Collaborates with development during performance engineering efforts and validates products meet or exceed defined capacity goals and end user response times.

· Fully participate as a senior member of the eDiscovery Software Engineering Management team. Assume full accountability along with the other members of the management team for delivery of products that meet all business requirements in a timely fashion.

 

Requirements

 

· Position requires a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or combination of equivalent education/experience. MS is preferred.

· At least 10 years experience is required in testing and/or developing large complex systems with minimum of 5 years in a staff management role. Experience must include test/development of hosted applications and iterative development methodologies.

· Proven experience successfully implementing automated testing tools for functional and performance testing.

· Knowledge of the electronic discovery and/or legal profession a very strong plus.

· Professional certification(s) in the quality assurance field preferred.

· Ability to work in a synergistic fashion with all other functional areas is essential.
