Estate Administrator

ESTATE ADMINISTRATOR

Hemenway & Barnes LLP is seeking an experienced estate administrator to provide support to all aspects of a sophisticated probate and trust practice in a congenial work environment.  Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills as well as initiative and ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.  Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience as an estate administrator and familiarity with all aspects of estate and trust administration including: practices of the Massachusetts probate courts; collection and valuation of assets; preparation of estate tax returns for large and complex estates; preparation and allowance of probate accounts; and knowledge of fiduciary income taxation.  A bachelor’s degree or formal paralegal education is desirable.  Part-time or flexible schedules will be considered.
