Global Marketing Manager

Strategic Marketing Management •Strategic Planning - manage the development and execution of the Strategic Plan and support development of the Annual Operating Plan for business •Strategic Alliances and Acquisition Support - Drive day-to-day contacts with potential alliance partners and acquisition candidates; conduct due diligence •Industry Analysis - identify industry trends that are impacting the business or are opportunities for new business; understand next best alternatives for customers and competitive threats and trends •Competitive Intelligence - develop mechanisms to gather information on competitive activities in the marketplace and incorporate the intelligence into the operational and strategic decision making process •Customer Value Management - develop customer based segmentation and corresponding value propositions for markets. Develop action plan to ensure value propositions/ benefits are consistently being communicated to the customer •Pricing - lead role setting global product pricing as well as recommending changes where necessary to reflect customer value •Portfolio Analysis - evaluate the product portfolio and make recommendations for target products to sell in the marketplace •Product Communications Strategy - develop and implement integrated communications plan to improve customer awareness of our brand, our product offering, and the appropriate value proposition by segment •Business Process - develop process and systems to gather and communicate appropriate competitive intelligence to drive strategy development and educate field sales on global marketplace dynamics New Product/Market Strategy and Implementation •Manage the commercialization of new products, including pricing, launch communications, selling tools, promotions, etc. •Champion growth in these new products through continuous monitoring and recommend changes where necessary to drive growth •Identify and recommend new product/market strategies to expand Operational Marketing •Develop product positioning, pricing, and promotional programs and make sure programs are effectively implemented with sales team •Work closely with product management, production, supply chain, customer service, materials management, and technical groups to ensure it is achieving profitable growth while meeting customer needsWho we're looking for• MBA preferred.
