HR Assistant

Dewey & LeBoeuf is currently seeking an HR Assistant in our Legal HR Department.  The HR Assistant is responsible for providing HR and general administrative support to the Attorney HR and Legal Recruiting functions. Must be professional, flexible to changing priorities, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, customer focused, and be able to work with minimal supervision and guidance and independently set own work priorities. Must understand the need for absolute confidentiality. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative support to the Director of Attorney HR and the Director of Legal Recruiting

• File

• Edit/revise documents

• Maintain budgets

• Reserve conference rooms

• Prepare check requests

• Photocopy and PDF documents

• Sort and respond to emails sent to the lateral recruiting email box

• Sort and distribute incoming mail

• Handle other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

• Ablility to work well in a fast paced environment

• Take initiative, be a self-starter

• Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

• Have confidence and strong interpersonal & team skills
