Human Resource Generalist

Seeking an HR Generalist:


who would maintain a positive work environment, supporting the culture and goals of the firm, developing strong working relationships with department managers.


Provide day to day support to employees and management through interpreting Firm policy related to employee relations and employment/recruiting matters.


Source, recruit and evaluate employment candidates for administrative exempt and non-exempt positions. Perform other duties as required by Management.

Duties and Accountabilities:Counsel and advise managers and supervisors on performance management, conflict resolution, staffing and disciplinary issues, ensuring that employee issues, such as complaints and harassment allegations, are consistently handled based on Firm policy and federal and state law.Review job requirements/qualifications, job descriptions and salary ranges with department managers. Benchmark positions using related market data.Source candidates, screen resumes and interview applicants, for administrative exempt and non-exempt positions. Use established White & Case procedures for offers of employment. Initiate and monitor background checks as necessary.Conduct, evaluate and complete quantitative analysis with relevant salary surveys.Develop and document streamlined procedures to continuously improve processes. Conduct new hire orientation, assisting employees with policy and procedure inquiries.Special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:Bachelors degree.6 – 8 years of general strategic Human Resources and Recruiting experience.Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex issues using judgment that is consistent with policies, procedures and regulations.Experience with compensation practices, salary surveys and interpreting survey results. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.Superior organizational and analytical skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications.Service and detail oriented.
